We commenced practice in a rented office at Room 1, 5th Floor, UMNO Building, Jalan Awang, 85000 Segamat, Johor on 1st September, 1980.
With an initial work force of three (3) we have since expanded and now have six (6) branches, in Tangkak, Johor Bahru, Klang, TTDI (KL) and Batu Pahat with a total of more than fifty (50) clerks and staff supervised and guided by Ten (10) experienced lawyers. More than one-thirds (1/3) of our staff have been with us for over twenty (20) years.
Our managing partner, Mr. Lee Fook Leong, a graduate of University Malaya with second class upper honours was admitted to the Malayan Bar on 4th November, 1977 and have since been in active practise, first with M/s. Yeo & Yeo of Kuala Lumpur for the period up to 31st May, 1979 and thereafter with M/s. Kassim Tadin, Wai & Co. at their branch office in Segamat, Johor for over fourteen (14) months until the said branch closed on 31st August, 1980. Our Mr. Lee then commenced his own practice. While in the employ of the said M/s. Yeo & Yeo, Mr. Lee handled both conveyancing and litigations. In M/s. Kassim Tadin, Wai & Co., Segamat, Mr. Lee was solely in charged of all legal matters handled by the said branch.
Mr. Lee is currently assisted by two (2) partners, Puan Siti Hajar Binti Yusop who is based in Tangkak and Mr. Lee En Dian who is based in the Klang Valley, with further assistance from the relevant senior and junior lawyers based in the respective branches.
We handle mainly conveyancing, banking and corporate matters for institutional clients ranging from major companies listed on the Main Board, to SME(s) and local businesses, partnership, sole proprietors and walk-in clients, as well as litigations matters on behalf of banks and financial institutions.
We are currently the panel solicitors for numerous banks and finance companies including Malayan Banking Bhd, Public Bank Bhd, RHB Bank Bhd., Hong Leong Bank Berhad, Alliance Bank Bhd, CIMB Bank Bhd, OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad , Public Islamic Bank Berhad, RHB Islamic Bank Berhad, Maybank Islamic Berhad, Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad, OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad and Standard Chartered Saadiq Berhad.
